Vacation to Oregon

Why on EARTH would anyone want to visit the Pacific Northwest in the Spring?!?!?! To see Miss Miss of course! Who cares that it rained every day we were there!


We just got back from a long weekend visiting Cousin Miss Miss, Aunt Meg and Uncle Joe. We had a great time and Little M did AWESOME on his first (and second!) airplane ride. The only crummy part was our trip just wasn't long enough!

11 months

I have an eleven month old baby. How in the world did that happen?? This time last year I was coming to grips with having a child free life. I was focused on finishing my Bachelor's degree and moving forward with my teaching career. I had just started blogging (Happy blog-o-versary to me!!) and was feeling all sorts of crafty. I was almost content with my life. Almost. Who would have thought a month later my whole world would be flipped up side down.

Today, I can function on as little as 2 hours of sleep. If I get as much as 5 hours of sleep in a row I feel like I could run a marathon! I constantly worry about Little M's growth, development and future. I melt when he smiles and giggles. Seeing Mr. Temmie play and interact with Little M makes me weak -in -the -knees happy. I am content with my life.

First official family photos

I entered Little M into a photo contest. He ran away with the prize. He got 125 votes. Of those 125 people, I know 30. That means 95 total stangers think my baby is the cutest ever... and I happen to agree with them! ;) The prize for this little contest was a free session and CD with all our photos. So we decided it was time for the Temmie family to get some professional pictures done. And in typical "me" fashion, I love the way my boys look and can't stand the pix with me in them. Oh well!
